Carfax Customers Help! What does dealer took title while in inventory mean???
I ran a carfax report and the report stated that the dealer took the title while it was in inventory. What does that mean? Should this worry me?
I brought this car from a buy here pay here dealership on 8/19. I’ve been having some problems, so a friend suggested a carfax report. It says that a title was issued on 9/7/07 and then it says that the dealer took the title.
It simply means the dealer you bought it from received the title for the car so he could sell it legally.
