does the word Mexico have any accents any where?
I need to know to make sure i don’t get marked down for it on my project
Are you writing in Spanish? In Spanish, the rule for pronouncing a word is if the word ends in a vowel, n or s and there’s no written accent, the stress is on the second to last syllable, but if the stress is somewhere else, you have to use an accent mark to show this.
Mexico is pronounced with the accent on the first syllable, so if you’re writing it in Spanish you’d write México.
If you are writing in English, I’d leave the accent off.
